REGULATIONS
The following regulations are for the Maumee River.
License Fees
Licenses are valid from March 1, 2002 to February 28, 2003.
Resident Fishing License................................................$15.00
One-Day Fishing License...................................................$7.00
Annual Nonresident License.............................................$24.00
3-Day Nonresident License..............................................$15.00
A reissued license may be obtained from any license vendor for a fishing license that has been lost. stolen, or destroyed. The cost is $3.00.
Site-Specific Regulations
Maumee River:
The following regulations are in effect from March 1 thru May1:
1. Fishing is allowed from sunrise to sunset only. (see time chart below)
2. No fishing with a line with more then a single hook. The line may not have a hook larger than one-half inch from shank to point, or a lure having more than a single hook larger than one-half inch from point to shank.
3. Treble hooks are prohibited.
NOTE: Live bait is permitted. You may use two poles as long as you obey the single hook rule.
The above regulations are in effect in the following areas when posted with signs: The Maumee River from the Ohio Turnpike bridge to the Old Waterville interurban bridge at the end of Frost Rd. and from the St. Rt. 578 bridge (in Wood County) to the Grand Rapids Providence dam.
