Maumee River

Starting to see some smallmouth  action on the river. Also a school of white bass came through and we a few of those caught over the last few days. The water has cleared up nicely and is running low so any place that has some current will a great spot to try. Bluegrass and button wood particularly.

Lake Erie

For some the bite has been slow , the mayflies have those fish filled up. We went out with Captain Daryl yesterday and he put us on fish right away.  We launched out of Cullin park in point place and started hitting fish quick right in Maumee bay area.  We went out near the intake and got a few perch as well.

If your looking for an easy to get too charter  captain Daryl Smith is your guy.

Have fun be safe and good luck fishing
