maumee river report-13 october ,2020

Cool nights and a little bit of rain has a few river walleye on the hunt. October and November  the big bass and walleye start to feed up for winter. Now its not like ste spring run  were the fish are everywhere. You have to search them out a bit. Pools just around some rapids are always a good bet. Big rattling baits , even  topwater  seem to work well this time of year. I haven’t seen any steelhead yet this season but have no fear they are in there and will be biting real soon.
