Wading to Bluegrass island is permitted

Well the river is full of walleye, but adapting to what mother nature throws at us every spring is more than half the challenge.. waiting for those perfect weather conditions may not happem. Regardless, yesterday warmed up nicely but the wind was gusting down at the river up to 30mph, many of those that adapted came up with limits . Most fish were caught over on the Perrysburg side of the river- Ft Meigs, Davis overlook were the hot spost. We did see some action out at Jerome rd rapids once the wind died down in the afternoon.

This morning is going to be very good before that wind kicks back in this afternoon. Blue grass island should be good early. The river warmed up 3 degrees in the last 24 hrs, hoping that  is going to spark the bite even better .
