License Fees

Annual fishing licenses are valid for 365 days from the date of purchase. Annual and multiyear fishing licenses are valid from the date of purchase until the expiration date printed on the license.

 

CATEGORIES
Resident Youth: For Ohio residents under age 16 at the time of purchase.
Resident: For Ohio residents age 16-65 at the time of purchase.
Resident Senior: For Ohio residents age 66 and older born on or after January 1, 1938.
Nonresident: For all nonresidents 16 years old and older at the time of purchase.

Site-Specific Regulations

Maumee River

The following regulations are in effect from March 1 to April 30:

  1. No fishing with a line with more than a single hook. The line may not have a hook larger than one-half inch from point to shank, or a lure having more than a single hook larger than one-half inch from point to shank.
  2. Treble and Double hooks are prohibited.
  3. Fishing permitted sunrise to sunset only

The above regulations are in effect in the following areas:  In the Maumee River from the Grand Rapids Providence Dam to a line in the Maumee Bay, from Little Cedar Point to Turtle Island.
