Water Temp-48 degrees
Wading To Bluegrass is possible
We saw multiple limits early yesterday morning , then the temp dropped and the wind picked up and fishing slowed down considerabley. Buttonwood area seemed to be the only place steadily producing fish throughout the day
BIG JACK WINNER FOR LAST WEEK WAS 7.45 LBS, caught late evening on the Towpath.
The river is still full of walleye The water temp dropped one degree last night to 48 degrees which is still a good temp for them to be active. Again miost of the fish caught the yesterday were medium size jacks. Today go with a 30 in leader or longer. Using 3/4oz-5/8 oz trolling sinker. We saw good results by anglers using white heads/glow tail and white head and the xmas lights powerbait. Also saw a couple come in using white head / green chartreuse tail.
